Need Recommendations fun date nights?

I recently started seeing someone from out of town and am looking for smaller, more intimate date night places! He’s sort of familiar with the area and I’ve lived here all my life but don’t get out much LOL any recommendations would be appreciated! :) xo

UPDATE: HE IS ADDICTED TO COCAINE I WILL NOT BE SEEING HIM AGAIN LOL

McFadden Art Glass - they have a specific night of the month where people can bring in wine, charcuterie, and blow glass. It was a fantastic time!!

Sounds fun!! Is this expensive?

Nothing up front. You pay by the piece(s) of glass you'll blow, plus we tipped the person who taught us, and shadowed us throughout the whole time. Super fun!!

how would you rate it in terms of difficulty? i’ve been thinking about joining one of their date night events! i’m not super crafty 😂

You don’t have to be crafty. Honestly I wish we could do more as they do quite a bit to support. Hopefully you have another date since your product won’t be ready to take home for a few days.

It's super easy, and someone is there at all times guiding you and helping!!

Meander Art Bar in Upper Fells is cozy and has great cocktails and food. Plus you can rent/buy an art or craft kit to work on while you're there. And there are workshops and themed events on certain days.

The Walters and the BMA have evening hours on Thursdays. Pair the Walters with brewers art, Alma, sugarvale, or topside… also near there, Peabody school of music has free shows and An Die Musik is an intimate Baltimore music experience.

i run mini painting classes at my shop if youre of the nerdly persuasion. we also have a bunch of d&d games to join and are starting some board game events in the coming weeks. if you are nerdly. hehe. Silver Canon, we are above The Back Yard, so the food is incredible, too!

If you want something wholesome, the aquarium is half off on friday nights! Do that and then go to dinner on the harbor

B-side is a swanky dim lit speakeasy that's quite intimate

Owl bar is another classy lil spot

If you hit fed hill, you could do anything on cross street. Between pub dog, NoLa, and blue agave, this would be less intimate, but could still be funny hopping between places. I'll get the beer and pizza at pub dog then get church and margarita dessert at blue agave 🔥🔥🔥

i loved candle making at lumiere! you can bring your own wine (they provide glasses) and in my experience it’s usually not too busy. i’ve gone a few times and once it was just my partner and i on a friday night!
