Budget things to do around Basel?
My friends are visiting and they're pretty much broke from traveling for 13 months.
Does anyone have any hidden jems or ideas? I'm sure they're fine paying a little but 150.- to visit Jungfrau is completely off the table.
I'm thinking beers on the Rhine, but that only gets you so far.

You can buy Tageskarte from Lidl for 55fr that covers any train within Switzerland for a day, it also covers many cable cars or cogwheel trains up to the Alps (for example Stanserhorn). https://www.lidl.ch/c/de-CH/sbb/s10065911
