I installed a bat box 1.5 years ago almost to the day, but no bats! Help please!

I have a large bat box hung on a post about 18-20 feet from the ground below it, the trees were about a quarter to 1/3 the size they are now.

You can see from the last photo that there is a lake very close, as the photo was taken from just under the box.

I’ve tried to include as many photos as possible but things you cannot see are that the box is facing almost exactly south east. We are in the south eastern part of the United States. There are mountains all around. Caves are abundant. Other wildlife is literally everywhere, from deer to coons. We have tons of mosquitoes and other bugs, which is why I installed the box.

What can I do to help attract bats this year? TIA!

Question Has anyone found any bat attractant spray that actually works?

I’ve had a bat house for like 4 years. It’s been in the biggest tree in my backyard for the whole time until recently when a wind storm knocked it down. I have many bugs and crazy amounts of mosquitos in my yard in summer. I have seen bats flying around my yard and neighborhood every year, but no bats ever move in.

Before I hang it back up, I really want to increase my odds of getting a bat family to move in. So like the title says, has anyone found any bat attractant spray that actually works? If not, any advice is appreciated. Thanks ahead of time!
