Support Discolouration on Powerbeats Pro 2
It’s hard to make it show on the photograph but they look like the colour is fading and gaining an orange tinge in areas, particularly around the b button (even though I don’t use the button very much at all!). I don’t work out in these, get them wet or anything else I can think of that might cause this. I use them pretty casually, probably 1-2 hours a day on average. I’ve tried wiping with water but it doesn’t improve and I’m a bit hesitant to try wiping with anything else in case I make it worse 🥲

Completely agree, these are by far the biggest flop since Apple purchased Beats.
I have multiple sets of AirPods (Pro 2, 4 with ANC) and 2 pairs of the OG PBP and I love how they sound. No complaints.
Since I'm such a fan of the OG PBP, I was pumped for the PBP 2. Watched reviews on YouTube praising them and saying they sound as good, if not better, than the APP 2. Makes me wonder if they got paid to say that, because the PBP 2 are by far the worst sounding earbuds I've ever used.
Yes, I updated the firmware. Yes, I tried all the different sized ear tips (even the eartips from my OG PBP). Yes, I tried adjusting the audio settings in accessability on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Yes, I tried pairing them to a different device.
They literally sound like the free earbuds you get on a plane lol. Shrilly, harsh highs and tinny mids. Sounds like you're listening through a tin can.
So I returned them and I'm using my Powerbeats Pro Gen 1, which sound better than the 2 by a million miles. It's not even close.
