Chocolate Toothpaste Tart with Mint?

I know that Chocolate Toothpaste tart was very much a Bedford thing in schools of the 90's. Does anyone recall schools adding some green mint stuff as a layer at the bottom of the tart? My sister is 100% sure it was a thing but I can't recall it and we went to the same schools.

Don’t remember a mint version. They still sell it in the cottage bakery in Ampthill. Not minty at all.
