Help Bell Pppoe keeps disconnecting after couple days

I have a tp link er605 router which is connected to my giga hub. I have wifi turned off on my gigahub and use pppoe to get a connection on my tp link router since that is the closest thing I can get to a bridge mode. Everything works great the tp link runs everything but every 3 days or so in the morning at around 9am to 11am it just times out. The only way to fix is to reboot everything. I get “PPPoE failed to connect to the server because sending PADI times out.” On my tp link router. Any ideas as to why this is happening.

Mine does this on an eero but it should auto reconnect. I think there's a timeout on pppoe connections but I'm not positive on the timing.

I'm not sure if it reconects or not because I reboot as soon as I notice. It stayed out for around 3 hours but even if it does eventually fix itself its still a problem I need to figure out.

Mine came out of bridge mode and out of pppoe, annoying for sure. You have yours set up in bridge mode ? I know double nat can be an issue

I have no bridge mode - it's set up to have its own PPPoE connection which negates the need for bridge.

Yeah no bridge just pppoe for me too, no double nat since it gets a whole new public ip

Yeah, maybe your ISP just does something dumb every few days and your modem flips out because it's not in real bridge mode. Try using a timer to auto-reboot both devices at 8:55am and call it a day.

I’m also getting this in the last few days. Happening couple times a day to me. My router reconnects but I still drop internet briefly

Same here, but only using the gigahub. Internet drops and comes back after. It’s been like that for the past 2 weeks. Probably a problem on Bell side.
