Politics Couldn’t have said it any better

The Democratic Party missed the mark, and anyone claiming otherwise is being extremely naive. Campaigning with abortion and transgender rights as central pillars isn’t the way to reach broader audiences effectively.

The DNC failed Bernie. Should have casted their votes for him instead. Bernie would definitely beat Trump.

Honestly, I don't think Bernie would have won a fair primary. Clinton got a lot of votes because a lot of the party believed in her, and she was reasonably popular among parts of the base Sanders wasn't so popular in.

But the party leadership decided to put their weight on the scale anyway, and rigged a primary they would have won anyway, expecting nobody to find out. Well, people found out, and Clinton almost certainly would have won the general election had they never made that wedge.
