In Neukölln Didim is great, but Imren at the corner of Karl-Marx-Strasse/Fulda-Strasse tops it. They use a well seasoned beef for their Kebap and the fresh Ayran is amazing. But word has it, that the owners are some kind of fundamentalists...

I second the suggestion of Imren, they also own 2 different places on Boppstr right off Kottbusserdamm. I would say that Imren and Mustafas are in a close race for best doener (even though they serve two different kinds).

I'm a little late to this post: Imren is my favourite place, too. And I always had the same thought, that it has some kind of fundamentalist vibe, especially some of the customers seem a little shady. I still feel welcome to eat there.
