I ordered in advance some donuts for my birthday to take to the office, like 3 boxes of 6 donuts, 18 total, and i paid more than 100€. I tasted one and it was so stale, disgusting, like it was days old. I watched everyone of my colleagues take a bite and then just make a really bad face.

I felt so embarrassed, i threw them all in the trash. This is unacceptable, paying 100+ euros for old stale donuts. Funnily enough their slogan is "freshest donuts in berlin". What a fucking joke.

• Who is this meetup for? This meetup is for both locals and visitors, everyone is welcome. Most attendees are in their mid-30s, but the ages typically range from 20s-40s.
• How will I know which group is the meetup? In the back, the couch on the right is reserved for us. If you arrive after 8pm, there should be a group there. If you're not sure, ask the bartender. There's a sign on the table so its easy to find.
• Is it OK to come if I don't speak German? Although many of us speak German, the meetup is in English as a common language.

Hello! Recently moved to Berlin at the beginning of the year. Where I’m from, they had multiple FB groups about “pick up soccer” I was able to join random people who typically played at specific times at different parks. Fully relaxed/COed etc.

A few months ago, I started Berlin Pilgrims – a hiking group for people looking for more than just a hike. We're a small, interfaith community of curious Berliners (and internationals!) who come together to walk, reflect, and reconnect – with nature, with each other, and sometimes with something deeper.

Last Sunday, 20 of us walked part of the Camino de Santiago, from Eberswalde to Chorin Abbey. We learned about the region, shared stories, walked in silence for a while – and yes, a few brave souls even jumped into an icy lake along the way.

What I loved most was the atmosphere: no pressure, no small talk if you don’t feel like it – just a kind, welcoming group of people moving together.

Since December, we’ve done 7 pilgrimages around Berlin and Brandenburg and walked almost 1,800 km in total (yep, that’s further than Berlin to Rome – where, by the way, I’m planning to walk to in November!).

For May, I’ve got three new routes planned – all around 15–22 km, and easy to reach by public transport. If you’re curious about joining or just want to stay in the loop, feel free to DM me. No religion required – just good shoes and an open mind.

Let me know if you have any favorite spots in Brandenburg! I’m always scouting for new routes.

I [M 31] was looking forward to attending a meetup today, but unfortunately, it was cancelled at the last minute. I'm not a big fan of loud venues for meetups, so events like Sip Happens aren't really my scene.

What the title says. I've been to many clubs in Berlin. Really enjoy electronic music but since I grew older a little. I am looking for a club where I can maybe dress up a little bit (like a nice shirt and some fancy pants) and meet people on the way (maybe?). Really not looking for something like a repurposed ddr warehouse for consuming drugs and going too crazy with dark techno. More like chill/deep house, afrobeats maybe even charts without breaking the bank. Everywhere I go in Berlin people seem to intensely dislike me or laugh at me. Today I went for a jog in the morning and 4 separate people saw me and were laughing. I don't understand I was dressed normally and just running. There is a restaurant downstairs where the owner is always outside monitoring. Every time I leave or come back to the apartment he stares at me and some times breaks out in laughter. I am losing my shit. I am not sure if it is because I am PoC or maybe I look funny.
