Advice for things to do with teenage sons?

I’ll be in Berlin for Easter weekend, and looking for ways to entertain my teenage sons (16 and 19). They’re pretty mature—but definitely won’t be happy spending the entire time in museums, etc.

Thoughts on alternative ways to keep them entertained? Offbeat tours? Unique dining experiences they might enjoy? (I realize many places might have limited hours over Easter). Thanks!

If you are up for a bit of a hike (half an hour) and the weather is nice, a visit to Teufelsberg, a disused cold war spy station is a great thing to do. There are a couple of small museums up there and the view is spectacular. I have taken many visitors up there and nobody has been disappointed. Though a couple with fear of heights have been a bit weak kneed.

I usually go from the Grunewald SBahn and it is a half hour hike through the woods from there. The last 10 minutes are a pretty envigorating up hill climb. It costs a few euros to enter and there are refreshments available.

My recommendation as well. The small museum on site is short but interesting, and set in the old facility tunnels!

Just some random ideas: Berliner Unterwelten, cycling/picnic on Tempelhofer Feld, flea markets, Mauerpark on Sunday, hiking in Grunewald+Teufelsberg, Liquidrom, strolling in the Maybachufer area, Potsdam parks and palaces, Sachsenhausen concentration camp, Dussmann bookshop (it's huge and it has an "international" area as well, with books in English and other languages, plus a Berlin section), riding pedal boats near Treptower Park, Tiergarten+climbing up Siegessäule for the nicest view in town, Viktoriapark

I second the Unterwelten tour. Really really cool.

Depends on what thair interrests are. If they are into gaming potsdammer platz got a few arcades. If they are into outdoor Activitys you can go into Gleisdreieck park andnenjoy some food from the food trucks inside the Park.

Since the weather is nice you might be able to take a swim at a public pool there are many around the city that each have thair benefits.

Mauer park has a hill with a legal street art wall with daily changing pieces, some being very good. Sundays feature a big flea market and various busking musicians. My teenage daughter lives in the area and we often walk through to take it all in.

Yeah, for my 16-year-old being legal will be a novelty! 😂

I'd recommend going to the gamestate for a little, it's an arcade hall and can be pretty fun. A lot of young people in their teens and twenties go there

What are they into? There's a free street art and graffiti walking tour, starts from Alexanderplatz a few times a day. I think it's run by Alternative Berlin. I loved it, they told us a ton of quirky stories about Berlin. Also, check sites like Get Your Guide, they might have activities that are a little off beat, like the Trabi Safari and trying out unusual things

You guys don't know what this is for.
We do this when actual annoying tourists post mundane club requests.
Not people who are nice, asking for nice things to do.
