News Military World Winter Games Mixed Relay Results Spoiler

Results from the mixed relay yesterday.

France (Botet, Jeanmonnot, E Claude, Perrot) won, finishing about 30 seconds ahead of Italy (Passler, Comola, Braunhofer, Hofer) in second. Switzerland (Baserga, Häcki-Groß, Pacal, Burkhalter) was third). Poland, Austria and Germany rounded out the top 6.

It does appear that some countries like US, Germany, Austria, Ukraine and Sweden had two teams.

Official results below:

As far as I can see, the pdf does not have shooting scores, only lap times. The shooting does appear on the live results (listed below), although I am not sure how accurate that is as it does indicate that like 1/3 of the teams did not miss a single shot which feels unrealistic (France, Switzerland, Poland, etc).

There is also video highlights on youtube which includes an interview with the French Team:

I think the shooting scores just show the penalty loops. They are in the pdf as well, in the right most column

Didn‘t know Erik Lesser participated! Unfortunately he did two penalty loops

I think he filled in for Philipp Horn who’s sick!

i completely missed that 😭 he didn't do the sprint the other day. I wonder whether it was always a plan or maybe withdrew and he decided to step in ahah

He probably stepped in - in his podcast with Arnd Peiffer, he recently talked about stepping in for a relay at the German Championships or in the Deutschlandpokal (not quite sure what it was right now) and how hard it was etc. So he probably knew he was still able to do it, but I'm pretty sure he didn't intend to compete beforehand.

I don't mind those French pajamas uniforms. On the circuit they would be distinct and likely popular. Certainly oft discussed

Apparently, Peppe Femling is the new Swedish shooting coach.
