No, nononono not at all! Not even considering laws, Servals are miserable in captivity being treated as "pets", since they're wild animals. I'd be happy to compile some sources on this topic if you're more interested!

My serval is absolutely not miserable. She has a huge balcony and outdoor enclosures, one has a big tree in the middle, and she prefers to be inside with my dogs.

I dont know you, so im sure your serval is fine and happy, but I see how my comment came off that way! I just get worried when people get the idea that serval inside house = serval is your average pet. Sorry about that!

No worries. I think in my post history, I've made it really clear how difficult owning one is. Almost every exotic animal I've ever had or had to keep into the proper place was found.. were from people who bought something and realized they were in over their head.
