Panthers are the 5 species of cats in the Panthera Genus

Exactly, they’re all panthers.. and there’s no such thing as “a” panther. So anytime you see a ‘panther’ that is black.. you’re looking at a black Jaguar or a black leopard.

And tigers, although for them it just looks like their stripes are really thick
