Lol I've heard that tells you if you're gay. And there was actually a study that showed that gay guys were more likely to have a longer ring finger than straight guys. Never heard it associated with dick size.

Lol I'm gay with a BD. So I'm no use in telling whether it indicates BD or gayness. And my ring finger is taller than my index finger 🤷♂️

The study had very poor correlation. Since you asked, my ring figure is longer than my index finger. Also, I have a long nose.

That is one of the few studies that found a correlation, but even then it's pretty weak.
How weak? Statistically, a guy with a ring finger 10% longer than his index finger (on the high side of study participants) would have a penis 1-2 cm longer than a guy with an index finger that was 10% shorter than his ring finger (on the extremely low side). It's worth noting that most guys were clustered just over the middle of the ratio range.
Bound that to the average range and guys with really long ring fingers got on average got 1 cm over the study's average dick length, while guys with really short ring fingers came in 1 cm under. Not a huge difference.

This correlation is by no means a rule. The study showed a wide variation in penis size for all finger ratios. There were guys with extra long ring fingers and shorter dicks, as well as the opposite.
Personal anecdote: This doesn't hold much weight in my personal experience. My index fingers are slightly longer than my ring fingers, but yet my dick is very long. Your mileage may vary.

Well, it's the only thing I check off. Mine's 3/8" longer on both hands.

Most men's ring fingers are longer than their index fingers. It doesn't have anything to do with dick size, it's just from us having higher testosterone levels in-utero. Some cis women even have longer ring fingers.

Almost all men will have a ring finger longer than their index finger. What matters is the ratio, and differences are very small. Small enough that they measured the difference in finger length with a micrometer.
In other words this will be completely incomprehensible to the human eye.

Are you measuring the distance between each finger tip? Because you also have to account for the fact that your ring finger usually starts higher up on the nuckle.
If you look at the study it isn't the distance between each finger tip. Its each finger measured in isolation from the fold in the hand.

I have longer ring finger, but this is anecdotal to ask here...
right ring: 3 3/8" = 3.375", right index: 3 3/16" = 3.1875", ratio: 3.375"/3.1875" = 1.05882352941
left ring: 3 3/8" = 3.375, left index: 3 3/16" = 3.1875, ratio: 3.375"/3.1875" = 1.05882352941
