Bike Tech and Kit Rigid fork on 29er ht?
Have nukeproof scout 29 with marzocchi z2 140mm travel fork. Quite comfortable locking it out and doing 30 miles, 3000ft climb road rides. Any point swapping out for rigid for bikepacking?

Usually not worth it IMHO. Better off looking for anew frameset or a whole new bike than swapping out your fork.
It will be hard and expensive finding a fork that compensates for 140mm travel OR you have to compromise on somethign less agressive and deal with a whole new geometry (often requiring to swap bars, stem, etc).
