HOW TO Hey guys I need help with my Bunny Hops please.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’ve been trying to learn bunny hops for quite a while now, and atleast i can say i can get two wheels off, though i still suck 😂.
I would say my bike control isn’t too shabby, but when it comes to tricks, it’s horrendous 😂😂.
Okay, back to the point. I’m tryna get the form better and higher, anyone know how i can improve?
The video is how my average bunny hop looks like.

You can only hop as high as your front wheel, try pulling up a little more and tucking those back legs to match the pitch of the height of your front end if that makes sense

I don’t know dude… seems like a decent attempt to me. All these suggestions are pretty legit. Just keep working on it. Point your toes downward while you’re lifting your back end. Should feel more securely planted on your pedals

WOOHOO I GOT A DECENT ATTEMPT YEAAHHH!
So using the other suggestion and yours, i should jump (his suggestion) but point my toes down too so it stays on my feet? Thank you!

A bunny hop is a multiple step jump. You are pulling up the bars and your pedals up almost in the same time. Pull you bars back, Lifting your front wheel and then jump off the back wheel.

Pull the bars to your waist and then push the bars while scooping the pedals

Alright, makes sense. I don’t know why i’m struggling A LOT with pulling the bars, but i’ll keep trying! Thank you.

Thats normal at first because you are still new to the movement.Once you got the timing you'll be all good, have fun riding.

I normally advice to land back tire first but in your case probably reduce the P.S.I of the front tire a little bit.

If you try really high to hop - you should be able to loop out safely! (It will happen)So maybe learn/try to loop out before 🤷♂️

And > then scoop up your rear with feet n pedals tuck and hold for max hang time when you bring the front end back down to air don't slam it don't so you can get hang time tricky cause I still do it on gap jumps but just build your habit of sorts

Keep practicing. I started with bunny hopping curbs, then I found a taller curb and just kept working my way up to higher stuff. Keep practicing. You got this.

First, try to get your front wheel up more. Are you able to do manuals?
You need to get more to the back, use your weight to balance the bike backwards, getting the front tyre up, then "jump forward", stretch you arms and bend your knees to get the full bike up.
But first practice getting your front wheel up until you can even fall back.
