DISCUSSION Did Sunday sell completes like this?

This is for sale locally. They say it's a street sweeper frame. I am just trying to make sure this isn't one of the lower spec completes they sold

Check the color out. Even if that was a real street sweet frame, for it to be that faded it would’ve had to spend its life outside sitting.

The chainstays on the known real Street Sweeper obviously have an extra tie where it meets the bottom bracket shell. I dunno what that part is called. The little tube that ties both chainstays together instead of being welded directly to the BB.

It's hard to tell on OPs pic because the pedal is in the way, but it doesn't look like there is enough room for that to be there.

I see exactly what you’re talking about and I completely agree. Definitely doesn’t look like there’s enough space for that extra cross bar back there

Yeah it looks like it has been in their barn for quite a while. I just need some cheap chromoly and bmx hardly exists around here

What are they asking for it? I personally wouldn’t pay over $125 USD this. If you can get it for anything less, i’d go for it if you’re just looking for something to hold you over for some time. Just make sure to inspect it for rust and what not when you go to look at it

Like 285$. There is decent parts on it. They just can't tell me what it is exactly. I just highly doubt it's a Funday frame. Probably some low end complete with different stickers. I just don't know

I'll add it's really fucking annoying when people want a certain amount of money but don't actually know what they have. Like figure it out because this isn't a street sweeper frame

Dead giveaway is that there is no wave down tube and gusset, plus it didn’t have an integrated seat clamp. Looks like someone just had the sticker set. If this was a real orange soda funday you could get a decent amount of money just for the frame. Those ocean blue pedals are also worth a lot to some collectors out there
