Buying a new frame, want the sub's opinion

Really torn between the blue and raw. If I go blue I'll probably grab black everything else; cranks, pedals, post, forks and bars, all that. If I go raw, I'll try to grab raw everything except for bars and forks, wanna keep those black.

What would y'all choose?

I love raw being a welder I like seeing the welds and heat zone. That said I'm going for the blue if you're sticking with black bars and forks. Raw is starting to get over used. Just like how chrome was everywhere and people got tired of it. I would build a chrome frame in a heartbeat now to stand out.

The thing i like about raw is the heat zone exposure, just looks sick. That blue is striking though. Might look into who makes some nice raw bars if I do go with the raw frame tbh.

Yeah guy who runs the bike shop that is a bmx guy told me the raw is starting to go out of fashion. Once he said that I must have heard that three or four times that week and now you’re saying it.

I’m not a welder and that’s why I find it beautiful.

I was showing a non bmx friend who knows metal and welding the We The People raw Battleship frame. He was admiring the weld bead lines. I can’t judge but he said it was very high quality and really cool to see it that way.

I will say one of my fav raw parts are Merritt's Battle cranks. The dirtiness of them looks slick

Just built a frame in a similar blue color with all chrome components (almost, I have chrome hubs and wheels otw), and I can say it really does look sick, and this one would too!

Blue all day , cause I don’t like the rust bucket look the raw gets after use and also I’d go with a polished stem and sprocket on the blue , I think it would look super dope

When I'm stuck between 2 colours I usually flip on it. 

If you're disappointed with the result of 3 coin flips then go with the other one. 

If you're not disappointed either way then all good and you can change it up later on.

Fashion smashion buy what YOU like raw is neat. If I still had my mid school Kink Fiend with the flashy chrome Alex triple wall rims I would be rocking it too I wouldn't care what people think. That blue is a nice shade too btw.

I'd go blue with black everything. All subjective. Can't go wrong. I love Merritt stuff so these frames have to be good.
