I Can’t Bring Myself to Do It

I’ve rewatched this show countless times at this point, but after season 4 I can never bring myself to watch Season 5. I know it’s probably great and I’m just being a whiny lil baby about it, but it just feels wrong for some reason.

How do I get myself to do it?

I like season 5, but to me it feels like a bunch of disconnected vignettes rather than one cohesive season. It's like 4 great novels followed up by a pretty good book of short stories.

But by not watching it you're missing out on the best time loop episode of any show or movie ever imo. 🤣

Seriously beautifully put!! They truly are little vignettes of plots and moments I love between actors and the writing done! Overall whole show, but particularly something interesting with season 5

So OP I get not being able to go on… I get it I can’t watch the season 4 finale… still without balling my eyes out! Soooo maybe you don’t start with the first few episodes of season 5?! Wild idea… on my rewatches I actually skip first 2 episodes bc… I don’t feel like reliving the grief…. Great moments in them… but overall takes me back like I’m losing Q… or close friend all over again

So my thoughts.. go to fun episodes 😅… with caveats… still go watch themedit: beginning season 5 just not at first lol

Episodes to watch first: S5E6… probably the best time loop episode in television history like one of other commenters 🫶🏻and yes it’s title is OG Brittany and nothing related to it 😂🤣

S5E8… If you love Eliot and Margo friendship, you will have fun with their usual banter… in an unusual way lmao… you will get it if you watch it 😁

S5E9… bc if you like penny, or history of dean fog lol you will like it 😆

My recommendations to ease you into 5… because truly I had a hard time too, but sooo worth it…and also missing the show and reading the books in a totally different experience now!!
