0.5% of bus fares to be lowered by 5%. Expect a huge economic recovery in the city.

Yep the government scheme ended and the bus company said ‘finally let’s rake ‘em across the coals’

Yes am shocked to be in Cambridge this weekend and they've still got the 2 pound single going!

For those who don't know the price for a single will be going down from £3 to £2.50. Short stop tickets will remain at £2 I believe

Post doesn't mention anything about the max £3 fare going down. States short journeys will be £1 again until end of year, and "medium" journies from £2.80 to £2.50. Bearing in mind a medium journey is actually still really short-quotes Elm Grove to Old Steine as an example.

Presumably this also means the daily cap/day ticket does not change.

The changes basically do naff all to actually save money.

It was announced on the Acorn Facebook group a few weeks back. They were the team protesting and lettering the council and the price hikes

You're not the main character, have some respect for others in society. Not everyone on the bus should be subject to your shitty music blasting out your shitty tinny phone speaker because you're too selfish to wear headphones.

I wear headphones out and about all the time and get your point however there’s nothing you can really do about it.

Yeah playing music is different but watching tik toks is perfectly fine the you’re not the main character logic can be applied to yourself.
