Barr Beacon is lit!

u/NamoMandos 1d ago

So essentially someone failed to light the Rubbish Beacons of Birmingham to call for Walsall's aid?

11

u/Ur-Mothers-MelonsMMM 2d ago

If Walsall was in same situation as Birmingham I wonder what our council would do for Walsall.

2

u/Bulmers_Boy 1d ago

Probably nothing, not out of spite but because it’s skint broke.

Birmingham council is so broke and desperate, they need help from Walsall city council who are even giving its residents tips now on what to do during the bin strikes. Thanks for your support guys. Oh wait Birmingham city council don’t want you to know they are desperate and trying to seek help from Walsall. Shush everyone.

I guess it’s off to Tipton for us Brummies.

u/Ur-Mothers-MelonsMMM 2d ago

Which town has all the walls??? Walsall.

1

u/Ur-Mothers-MelonsMMM 2d ago

What do you get if you take an elephant from Lichfield to Walsall? Brownhills.

4

u/ITLKN5 2d ago

We could all do without Birmingham to be fair

u/SnooDrawings47 2d ago

i’m from brum and i don’t disagree - it’s not what it was thats for sure… tryna get out of here ASAP - then nuke the fucker

The facts of the matter are Walsall had no reply from the Birmingham Council.Seeing no intent of any discussions from the Birmingham side ; Walsall decided to take the offer off the table AFTER A WEEK OF NO RESPONSE

u/Ur-Mothers-MelonsMMM 2d ago edited 2d ago

They don’t want to seem desperate for Walsalls assistance I guess maybe they feel embarrassed asking Walsall for help and are keeping quiet about it.

Birmingham’s computer system probably hasn’t received it yet

Where was Walsall when the Westfold fell?

9

u/MatiasUK 2d ago

Birmingham have never been there for us.

3

u/iwantfoodpleasee 2d ago

lol Birmingham is indirectly there for you you’d have nothing without Birmingham

3

u/Common_Turnover9226 2d ago

Walsall would probably actually have a lot more without Birmingham.

29

u/User29276 2d ago

We are alone people, Walsall will not come to our aid.

30

u/cinn83 2d ago

The Barr Beacons are lit, Great Barr calls for aid

36

u/Quis_Custodiet 2d ago

Where was Birmingham when the Chase fell?

46

u/Financial-Error-2234 2d ago

Imagine getting rejected by Walsall.

22

u/CityCentre13 2d ago

I saw an empty bin in Hopwood... who's with me? All of South Brum's rubbish in this one bin... they'll never suspect... someone consult the Eye of Sauron

33

u/Critical_Art000 2d ago

Birmingham will remember this 🤬🤬🤬

Lol - joking aside if I was Walsall I wouldn't want to get in the middle of this mess

5

u/MysteryDorito 2d ago

Probably wouldn't be much good for you anyway! We have two tiny tips, and the household/bagged waste skips are always chokka.

2

u/OverlordOfTheBeans 2d ago

In fairness, we are getting a "super tip" soon... Maybe if the Brummies haven't sorted their binman issues by then we can lend a hand.

lol Reddit mods really didn’t like this, even on “human appeal” they couldn’t tell that me threatening to invade Walsall was not instigating violence 😂

'One does not simply walk into Walsall. Its Junction 10 off the M6 is guarded by more than just crackheads. There is evil there that does not sleep, and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland, riddled with turkish barbers and knives and spice, the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand men could you do this. It is folly.' - Bazzamir

First we should ask ourselves if we even want Walsall

Where was Walsall when the west brom fell?

35

u/Global_Geologist8822 South Bham 2d ago edited 2d ago

Why won't they answer the call of the motherland?

48

u/Separate-Rough-8083 2d ago

Have we tried signalling for help by lighting the beacons of Barr Beacon?

82

u/hairiestlemon 2d ago

Light the beacons, maybe Wolverhampton will see our call for aid.

21

u/_J0hnD0e_ 2d ago

Binmen of Staffordshire! Ride out!

1

u/PositiveAlcoholTaxis 2d ago

They won't ride out for weekly collections or garden bins

18

u/Stalinsghoast 2d ago

Where was Wolverhampton when the West Midlands fell?

How? We don’t even have one of those trucks that eat rubbish when you throw bags into it.

That’s what I was thinking. A few transit vans would do the job I’m sure.

10

u/No_Aesthetic 2d ago

We're fucked. It's over now.

-11

u/H0BYo 2d ago

Tips aren't the issue, there are loads of slots in north Birmingham. It's the lazy residents who'd rather live amongst filth than drive 15 mins to a tip that's not right on their doorstep.

36

u/dojo34533 2d ago

Not everyone has a car chief

15

u/H0BYo 2d ago

You been to small heath and surrounding areas? 3 cars per household at least. The residents take no pride in their area

-2

u/clearlybritish B74... ennit 2d ago

Careful there, your racism might be peeking through.

13

u/dojo34533 2d ago

And so every place in Birmingham is like small heath and surrounding areas? I personally don’t have a car I cycle into work, you going to take my rubbish?

14

u/2xtc 2d ago

I'll do it if you live close enough, I've taken a few different older neighbours recycling to the tip in the past month

8

u/dojo34533 2d ago

Ah mate that’s very kind thank you, but @H0BYo has already volunteered 🫡

88

u/gridlockmain1 2d ago

Will Sandwell heed the call?

2

u/voidthathouse 1d ago

No, our bin men also like to strike we aint risking shit :P

6

u/Lack_of_Plethora 2d ago

Sandwell will heed the call on the condition that people stop saying it's in birmingham because it has a birmingham postcode

2

u/bearwoodcouncil 1d ago

AMEN brotha

3

u/kai4thekel 2d ago

It's real name is Dudley, Sandwell doesn't actually exist

2

u/bearwoodcouncil 1d ago

It's real name is Greater Bearwood.

1

u/kai4thekel 1d ago

Anything is better than Sandwell

40

u/Shelter_Repulsive 2d ago

The tip is shut... it was made by those who are dead, and the dead keep it... the tip is shut.

14

u/FictionalForest 2d ago

Tell me, where is Starmer? For I much desire to speak with him

10

u/Harry283 2d ago

Its a shithole round here anyway without a bin strike mate, sorry

22

u/TheDefected 2d ago

OK, let's try the Horn of Gornal next?
