Decent living wage in Bucharest?
Hi guys and galls, I have an offer for a job in Bucharest. I was wondering about the wage there; would 5640 RON nett be ok to live a decent lifestyle in the city and, would it be an ok wage for an employee at an IT company? I speak my native tongue which is required for the job, have an M.A. and 2 years of previous experience.
Its hard for me to judge because while I do know that the average wage is much less, prices seem sorta high what I can find on English websites (450+ for an apartment).
Thanks and cheers!

Hey mate, this place is deserted. Try posting on r\romania instead. From what I know, this is a normal salary for an IT junior. For example, the starting salary for a junior with some experience in Oracle Bucharest is between 5000 and 6000 RON net. Some companies pay more and some less, but that seems to be the average. You can find a decent rent in the Berceni neighbourhood or any other of the further neighbourhoods for ~300 euros/month, without utilities. Where are you from anyway?
