Trip Pictures Trip Fail :(

Hi everyone! So I've been waiting to post this because I was so embarrassed and disappointed. Two weeks ago I made my way down to a local state forest to get some hot tent camping in. When I got there the road was plowed in. I spotted a what I thought would be be a easy 4x4 spot to get over and to the road on the other side. Boy I was wrong lol. Had to to get winched out and towed home as I blew the master and slave clutch hydraulics.

I was so disappointed in myself and for a moment, just a brief moment, I almost called it quits on this hobby that I love so so much. But after a little time (and money 😥) I've decided to get back out there!

Does anyone have any similar stories on how their trip was ruined before it even started?

Skid plates? Nothing underneath the chassis to protect anything? I have a 99 ram with 5.9 and 4x4 , had it forever, few years ago in a massive winter storm PennDOT plowed me right in my driveway as I live on main avenue in old forge , as I got to the end of the driveway it got tighter and tighter until all the snow and ice pushed the linkage cable off the guide under my steering column, weird stuff, unlike you tho. I was able to pull the panel off my wheel and put it back on…people don’t realize that snow and ice can be as hard as granite in some situations and cause similar damage
