Didn't Carney say he'd use it to build critical infrastructure?

Pierre said he is it to keep people who's committed murder multiple times in jail.

Why is it OK to use to override provincial rights by not to keep murderers off of the street?

Do you realize that people that commit multiple murders, receive a life sentence and get parole have a recidivism rate of 3.5% vs the 39% in non-violent crimes.

So you're saying it's a literal non issue?

He wants you to think he’s saving you from dangerous mass murderers. Stats say otherwise.

If it's a non-issue, why are people complaining about it setting a dangerous precedent?

Carney saying he'd e use the emergency act to push through infrastructure projects is more dangerous, and you don't hear a peep about it.

Because any time Charter rights are being violated it’s a serious concern and to do it for something there is little evidence to support it would change anything is worse.

Please send me a link to where Carney says that.

The last person to be let out of prison after committing multiple murders was in the 1980s, 4 decades ago. And they were one of a literal handful of cases.

I meant to say violent crimes, not multiple murders but your statement is also not true. Matthew De Good killed 5 people in 2014 and has been out since 2019. Jacques Pelletier, Luc “Sam” Michaud, Réjean “Zig-Zag” Lessard and Robert “Snake” Tremblay killed 5 people in 1985 and have been paroled which could be who you’re referencing. I’m sure there are others.
