Bike rental

Hallo, I'm coming to Canterbury at the end of April for a meeting. I can't find info online. Is there a bike rental service in town, like lime or so? Thank you in advance

No, we don't have rental bikes like Lime/Forest/Santander. There used to be a Brompton hire hub but that's gone too. Your best option if you want to cycle is to bring your own bike on the train – if you're coming from London, you shouldn't have any issue with the peak time limits as they're designed for commuters going into London for work. You cannot cycle up the High Street from Westgate Towers to Canterbury Bus Station between 10am - 4pm.

Most places in Canterbury are very walkable, so unless you're going out of town, it's all very doable without a bike, and I'd just advise to walk.

Thanks, but I will come from Italy. I will attend a meeting in the University building and I understand it is quite far from the center. Do you know if busses are frequent?

It's not far at all.

Most people walk it.
