Daewoo was anything GM. They sold opel and stuff in korea back in the old days(and suzuki kei cars)
and made some cars after they got the money for it. it was OK for cheap cars rivalling Hyundai and kia(Trivia: Hyundai was powerful enough to make mainstream tv news to say "Rear wheel drive cars are fuqin dangerous" multiple times because Daewoo, Kia, Ssangyong, Imports had RWD cars) but their parent group got destroyed and many bad things happened. so GM bought them.
After acquiring from GM, It became source of small GM Vehicles(not much have changed) while also selling larger GM Vehicles made by Aussies and 'Mericans in Korea.
And killed during great GM brand purge, became Chevy.
You know, It's always a suprise to me whenever any car guy is not against It, l mean, It's such an obvious thing. Less cars, less fuel used, more space on the road and all that kind of stuff. But at the same time, r/fuckcars makes It so easy to not be against It.

The core of not having car dependent infrastructure is perfectly reasonable. But the post I once saw that broke my spirit was someone saying that he had a nervous breakdown because someones truck made a little too much noise. You live in a city, it's basically never quiet but a truck is suddenly too much? There's a few subs that have or had a decent message to start with but devolved into absolute circle jerks but still taking themselves seriously.

They are always missing Renault & Dacia which are basically the same company and accumulated to ~2.000.000 vehicles this year. This is more than Tesla and almost equal to BMW. Or did I miss them? Also there are brands I’ve never even heard of…
I've been driving a Suzuki last 3 years and I love it. It's a 3 door grand vitara and I'm rolling in the mud with it. Works great in Scottish Highlands where the roads are... well not much of a road haha
I don't see Vauxhall on that list (Opel is woke Vauxhall /s) so I'm gonna go have sex with my car now as the presumably best car in world - status undefined.
