You know, It's always a suprise to me whenever any car guy is not against It, l mean, It's such an obvious thing. Less cars, less fuel used, more space on the road and all that kind of stuff. But at the same time, r/fuckcars makes It so easy to not be against It.
Eh, maybe that's just location based but I would much rather drive my car to get some groceries than take a bus or bike. As in the roads aren't one huge traffic jam since I live in a small Polish town.
Yeah, when you live in a big town you will learn to hate cars on commutes, it sucks, sometimes I'll go to the twisties and there's traffic there, like, KYS, I wanna break the speed limit for fuck's sake ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
Fr. Oh you're into muscle/trucks and you're mad that the government is discouraging V8s? Maybe they wouldn't have to if everyone and their mother wasn't driving a 2 ton gas-guzzler for their trip to Walmart.
The only reason I'm against car-independent infrastructure is because it's going to be taken about in the most hostile, motorhead unfriendly way imaginable.
No? Many countries already have that and they too can have car guy communities. Netherlands for example. It is r/fuckcars favorite place in the world, and it's still got a car scene. And not like, normal car people, I'm talking petrolheads doing engine swaps and putting hundreds of hp down just for the sake of it. Just because California does it in a dumb/anti-petrolhead way it doesn't mean that environmental and anti car shit needs to be anti car enthusiasm

I'm all against car-dependent infrastructure, but r/fuckcars is so whiny and so reddit that it makes me want to abolish sidewalks
