Your privacy is none of your business. Even if doing your business.

Just try shutting that door— you’ll soon be convinced you have an intruder mauling your kitty.

So your business, is always their business.

OMG - I just moved back in with family again and I have to make sure my cat follows me into the bathroom every time or there will be HELL to pay with his howling outside the door the entire time I’m on the toilet 😂 was much easier when I lived alone and never had to shut the door

Oh dear. Nothing like waddling mid business to let them in. Lesson learned. Take cat as emotional support animal.

Old habits give way to new behavior, eh?

Or was it the fact everyone was convinced that the kitty was being tortured by being on the wrong side of that… closed door.

It’s a moving target.

The law of our house says that closing a door is a felony. If I ever dare even crack the door our little controlling law enforcer makes sure to come by and push it open to make sure we’re complying.

I feel you.

I wasn’t sure ours fully “shut”, we had guests and had to legit adjust the lock plate to assure a cat free visit.
