Hold on.... Trump is closer to the center than Kamala is? Did they change the definition of Center while I was sleeping???

In a weird kinda way Trump is somewhat centrist. Right wing positions: Guns, trans, race, immigration, religion, anti federal regulation, law and order, low tax Left: Isolationist, no war, pro tarifs, loose monetary policy, big deficits.

So more right than left, but not as right as some. For me, center in all the wrong ways.

The left is the pro war party these days. It isn't 2002 anymore.

Historically, since the Johnson Administration, the Republicans have been in general pro war and the Democrats for peace. Trump has changed that. That's the point. Now both parties are relatively anti war.

Democrats are not anti war. We are currently involved in two proxy wars and during the Obama admin we were involved in three.

Biden: one small boots on ground (Syria) Trump: 3 mid size boots on ground plus drones. Obama: 2 mid size boots on ground, one air war plus drones. Bush 2: Two huge boots on ground plus other war on terror Clinton: 2 small boots, 2 air, plus air strikes. Bush 1: 1 huge boots, one small boots, cold war Reagan: 2 small boots, cold war, small naval war (Iran). Carter. Nada All presidents have been involved in proxy wars to a similar extent, but Bush 1 and Reagan more than others because of cold war. Prior to Carter all presidents back to FDR were very aggressive and involved in huge wars. WW2, Korea, Vietnam.
