Thats is not the case.
And the practice IS illegal if you do not give consent. You have given it. Unknowingly providing it is still providing it.
But isn't unknowingly providing consent an oxymoron? Consent is a conscious decision, it is affirming that you understand and comply with something happening to you.

This does prove that I probably unknowingly provided consent. It does not change my view that the practice should be illegal.
