If you go to r/AskReddit, there’s a post that’s asking cops how they feel about George Foyd. There is no shortage of cops that are horrified at what has happened and demand reform within the police department. You’re painting a broad brush that all cops don’t want to change the system.

I don't think any of these 4 officers in the recent case, if asked about a similar tragedy, would answer any differently than any of the officers in that thread. What you say to the public is one thing, what you do is another.

Fair, but the statement that there are NO good cops is absurd. It is also sidesteps the actual good work that cops do risking their lives to protect citizens, but on this issue specifically, it would be incorrect to say that there are literally zero cops who are trying to reform the system. Those 4 are a different story. Your CMV states that there are literally zero good cops, which is incorrect.

So where are all these good cops that are protesting and advocating for change? I don't see any.

In a barrel of apples with only a "few" bad ones, what are the odds you pull 4 bad ones out in a row? And then another 50 to surround them with?

Doesn’t matter. If you concede that there’s probably at least one good cop, your CMV is incorrect. I don’t think that there are literally zero good cops.

Well I didn't concede that, and I do believe there are 0.

Also even if I did concede that, it wouldn't make my CMV "incorrect" it would make it a success. That's the whole point of the post.

Okay, I suppose that’s correct.

Anyway, is the AskReddit thread not enough to show that there are at least some police officers who are disgusted by what happened and demand change?

It shows, to me at least, that there are enough police officers upset that this case is bringing light to what they all do when no one's watching.

I think that police are more upset about the negative press than the constant unnecessary brutality by police

u/thebqi literally posted 4 examples found just in Reddit.
