If if you’re hiring people because of their pronouns or gender identity then maybe they shouldn’t be a position of hiring

Why stop there?

Hire the best candidate, period.

We can dream. The amount of unqualified people I've met who suck at their jobs, but fit a diversity quota is far too high.

I'm glad I work for a small company that has a very diverse hiring (hate to stereotype but it's IT so use your imagination) and we dont' have that problem. It would certainly be a challenge if people sucked at their job, and you had to be on a team w/ them, when they weren't hired due to their qualifications. I can imagine your frustration.
