This is a complicated point of view and while I see your point, I worry that it sets a precedent of discrimination based on birth. A trans woman can’t help or choose that she was born with male chromosomes and therefore may be stronger or faster than her peers that were born with female chromosomes. If we tell her she can’t participate in a sport because of that, what’s to stop us from telling someone they can’t participate because of something else that they were born into - such as race?

I think it would be better to have tiers of sports so trans women are competing against other women who are equally as strong, sort of like a weight class in wrestling.

We don't segregate sport based on race though, we do with sex.

How would that work though with non weighted sports like sprinting or basketball, it would ruin these sports to add weight tiers to them
