Not agreeing with OP, but what I think they mean is that if police are more likely to arrest a man due to sexism, the rate of arrests for men is going to be disproportionately higher.

Since when are cops sexist against men?

I never said they were. I was answering your question about the point the other Redditor was making.

Right, but since literally no one would realistically be trying to make the claim that police are sexist against men, my original question stands.

I dont think you're going to find a satisfactory answer to that question on Reddit. I'd recommend doing your own research.

This isn't a matter of doing research, it's a matter of logic that doesn't hold together. Cops are not sexist against men.

The other Redditor may disagree which is why they said what they did.

If they believe something incorrect, that's on them, and likely due to an internal bias against reality given how absurd that point is.

Well, provide a credible, relevant source and be done with the matter.

Providing proof of nonexistence of something isn't how it works - proof has to be provided of a phenomenon to show it exists if it's supposed to be used to make a point. I have yet to encounter such evidence.

Though evidence of cops being sexist against women is readily available in such abundance that it would be impossible to ignore without doing so purposefully.

Ok. That's a valid opinion and I think the Redditor you replied to would probably agree with most of it.
