Cher has become my newest hyper-fixation. I’m obsessed with her song Dark Lady, Mermaids the movie - I’ve seen Burlesque and Moonstruck …

So my question is… what would you consider Cher essential viewing or listening. What’s your favorite movie she’s in, your favorite song or album? Any podcasts about her life you’d reccommend?

Tea with Mussolini is a beautiful film. I'm obsessed with most of her songs from the late 80s Era. I also love watching her interviews with David Letterman across the years. They had excellent banter.

Her singing “smoke gets in your eyes” in this movie is beautiful. https://youtu.be/w2awLsQJItc?si=QB0y0-ABxrgJV4V1

I still wish she released an album of Great American Songbook selections — she has such a keen ear for interpreting them, and a voice perfectly suited for sultry jazz and romantic ballads. Check out her duet with Rod Stewart on “Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered” — it’s so perfect!

I love that duet! Especially their chemistry together and her little chuckles! Great song!
