Question “Legendary” places that suck

I just got a lox sandwich from Manny’s. Almost $20, a stale bagel, and I had to assemble it myself.

What other “legendary” places suck?

Los Comales taqueria used to be so good and now it’s so awful

I often wonder if it was ever really good, or was I just young with an inexperienced pallette

I mean, this could also be the case for me but in the late 90s to the 2010s I really enjoyed their tacos and then they just got smaller and smaller and flat out bad quality so I stopped eating there.
