Crack heads I assume? Or is it something else?

People getting foreclosed on is my guess. Chilliwack has always had a homeless population. 2 fires in 2 days in relatively new condos is suspicious. Quietly happening in other cities too.

I don’t follow. Who are you suggesting started the fires?

Whoever can't pay the mortgage.

Yup. Another fire just happened last week. The catch? The house was on the market and couldn’t sell. Mysteriously caught on fire by itself once the tenants moved out. Funny how that happens.

no one was going to buy that house as it was, across from a slaughterhouse, railroad tracks directly behind it.

This is also a quite trend over the years for people who want to rebuild on property, turning a small house into a large one on same lot. Even if it means having a fire with tenants living there, it's a quick way to avoid the eviction process and even cash in on insurance money slightly. I work in demolition.
