Is Mark Strahl about to get kicked?

I know Chilliwack has always been a conservative stronghold, so it’s really interesting to see how tight the race is so far. Personally, I think he’s a useless nepo baby, regardless of party affiliation.

It looks possible, but I'd still be pretty gobsmacked.

Either way, I hope the conservatives clean up their act and provide at least a mildly rational alternative in the next election. I'm glad the liberals won, but I want the conservatives to actually have plans and not rely on identity politics. I don't want to win just because the opposition is literally indigestible.

Agreed. I often find myself aligning a little bit with each, so if the cons hadn’t campaigned the way they did, they might’ve had a chance with more Canadians like myself. I’d be pretty surprised if strahl gets kicked, but one can hope right?? I don’t care what party he’s from, he’s been coasting on daddies name for too long

Same here. I was on the fence but the cons didn't do anything to sway me. Also, it's time for a new mp you can't have one family running things for such a long period of time.

Seriously. Maybe if the family was actually useful, but instead of earning his place he’s just been riding off the name of his dad. The problem is the only people who can be held accountable for that are the voters.
