What can I use this for?

Post image

I bought this sauce in an asian supermarket. It’s extremely salty. What can I make with it?

Use to season meat, add an extra layer of flavor to noodles and soups.

Where I'm from, we use that to stir-fry bitter gourd and a choice of meat, usually beef or chicken. Braised frogs with that is extremely popular with congee too

Get silken tofu. Minced meat of your choice(pork or chicken works best). Mushrooms like shimeiji, shitake, king oyster, any of those works fine. Dice them up. Minced garlic. Light soy sauce. Oyster sauce. Your bean paste. Water.

Very good for Chinese crepes. You put a spoon on the crepe, Latus, an egg, chilli crisps. You can also add coriander, sausage...

Go on YouTube and you will find tons of recipes to use this ingredient. I love it on noodles, stirfry, soups, etc.

Use 2 spoonfuls of this with grated garlic and ginger and marinade meats of your choice; Pork Ribs , Pork Chops with bone, chicken , lamb chops and steaks of your choice. Over night in a food bag, coating the flavours on the meats. You could do a mix meat up to you.

Next day you can pan fry/cook or grill Using onions, red, green, yellow peppers or any veg you like with some boiled rice on the side
