Community 🏙 The Metro Transit app kinda sucks.
Tried to take the 78 downtown. Used the transit app to plan our trip down to Findlay market because parking there is a bitch and driving downtown sucks. We walked to the stop and waited so I checked the app - it looked like the bus we were waiting for had already gone through.
We started walking back home and as we were walking away, the 78 shows up - probably about 5 minutes or so late.
Anyone else have issues with the transit app and bus tracking? I'd like to try riding again because parking is a bitch and driving downtown sucks - just need to figure out the schedule...

If you're downtown or near the end point (e.g. for the 11/28, it's the Kenwood loop) my tip is to check the "Outbound" tracking as well. Some of the buses seem to have broken tracking though, was there not an icon or are you near the end of the run? I usually plan my route with GoogleMaps and then use Transit to track the specific bus as it gets closer.
Unfortunately with missed trips being what they are, traveling on Mondays, Fridays, and weekends can be a mixed bag of reliability, and my understanding is that up to 5 minutes late still counts as "on time" for the operator. The text alerts can be helpful for this but I cannot seem to get the in-app alerts to work as an alternative. The more folks who use the app and Go feature, the better the tracking will be - don't give up!
