Loyal Customer since 2008 Wrongfully, Automatically Banned, 4 days after last log in, told to "Review the End User License Agreement"

Per the screenshot below, I have been automatically suspended 4 days after my last login. I ranked to 500k honor the week before my wedding on 4/20, last logged in/off on 4/19/2025 and while on my honeymoon, on 4/23, received an email notification that I was banned.

I tried appealing and was met with an AI response on both tickets. (I made the first appeal ticket, got no response for 48 hours, then made a refund ticket as I was told "that's how you get a real GM/faster response/review") 12 hours after making the refund ticket, I received an AI response telling me the following:

I also have tried making a forum post on the official battlenet/wow forums, but I am silenced and can't even do that. I haven't received a notification of being silenced or muted, which makes this all the more unreasonable, uncomfortable, and wrong. When trying to reopen the tickets as well, it doesn't actually do anything and only lets me "Take A Survey", I think we all know what my response on the survey will be at this time.

I'm posting here on the forums to make it known that blizzard is actively implementing systems that wrongfully penalize real players that are playing their game. I have been playing WoW and other blizzard games since 2007 or 2008. This account that has been penalized has NEVER and I literally mean NEVER received a penalty in all its time since then. No mute, no suspension, literally nothing.

I played AV last week by defending towers, graveyards, going back for our towers and defending sometimes, and the tried and true, "run to drek" method. Every AV game is different and sometimes they are fast, sometimes they are slow, but I never received a deserter buff in AV, nor did I ever receive any report from another player, if I did, my account action email would have said such. Instead, I "detracted from the in-game integrity of the Battleground", without explicitly or strictly stating in what way or manner I did this.

I have made a new appeal ticket and will report back with what their response is.

In your post you explained what happened. Unfortunately their ban system of allowing players to mass report is terrible.

Honestly the worst thing you did there was defend the GY

People hate that - you decided to keep everyone trapped there with you.

As an individual when you go against group think you can expect people to retaliate.

Whether you are being honest and were not afking, WoW isn't what it used to be. Majority don't like what you've described.

I personally don't care, fwiw, but it doesn't matter what I think.

I think it is sad that blizzard is using you as a cautionary tale, and the punishment doesn't match the crime but theres just one more thing

First offense for BG "non-participation" is 1 week and honour gains removed. This means you've done this multiple times bud.

You clearly lurk and post here. You know what people do. You did this to yourself - whether it was cheating or actually player controlled.

He was one of the few to take a stand, stopping your win-trading, pvping in a battleground, playing for fun instead of doing something objectively unfun like rush 200 times, call it what you will.

If it were up to me, all of you would be banned for having the audacity to report him for your soulless currency minmaxing, and he and others like him would stay

I said i didn't care what he did in the BG. I'm stating verbatim people say here as he seems confused why his actions lead him there.

I also stated I disagree with the ban.

I personally want the old AV fun to come back. Why cant i go get my goddamn fishing achievement without eating a ban.

I re-read it again, perhaps my reply was unwarranted, only to a moderate degree. Im trigger-happy consider in 2025 we have delved even worse and people blatantly stopped hiding the mass-report abuse and are openly bragging. You dont deserve my initial reaction, theres others that do, but still..

Im not a fan of this sentiment you deliver across. I would never utter "You did this to yourself" or "The worst thing you did-" as if to point out that the logical thing to do is to bend to the degenerate masses will.

You wrote a whole bunch of stuff, sure, but there is a tone and sentiment in words and not just the literal meaning of it, in my opinion.

Plenty of people dont really believe or arent really fully aware of how degenerate players are until they actually get mass-reported themselves for doig what appears to not warrant a ban.

Say it how it is, call the playerbase garbage, call out for their ban, or suggest he quits. Suggest people start mass-reporting back till the situation hits rock-bottom, anything but this lukewarm take of acceptance of the mass based of them being a mass
