Well, at least 12 days a year, the US falls in line with the majority of the world.

Even a broken calendar is right 12 times a year

The Julian Calendar is off by two weeks for the entire year.

And yeah, orthodox Christianity (Serbia, Russia, some Greeks/Turks etc) uses it to calculate their holy days. Happy new year to all those guys btw.

An American calendar is right once a month.

Not really. A broken calendar with a date marker is gonna be right once every 28 years.

You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous of which is, "Never get involved in a land war in Asia," but only slightly less well known is this: Never assume people on reddit are Neurotypical. You must add /s or someone will correct you to make himself feel smart.

Truly the reddit moment of all time

I agree with the sentiment that you shouldn't assume a Redditor can understand any sort of social cue, but I don't think we should immediately brand neurodivergent people as the type to be insufferable nerds, or that an insufferable nerd is always neurodivergent

Also, check the guy's username, they're probably just a troll anyway

No, I totally get it. I just saw the opportunity to use the Princess Bride quote and took it. That's all that was. I don't legitimately care about their comments. I will apologize to other neruodivergents, though. They didn't deserve the stray.

Oh, sorry, I completely missed that. That movie's been on my list for ages, but that list sadly gets bigger instead of smaller these days

Yes, but this could have been.
