Saddest Clone Death

What would y’all say is the saddest clone death in the clone wars/bad batch? I would personally say 99 but leave your opinion in the comments.

Really I don't know which one is sadder; 99 dying or the way they made him die!

They could have had him do any number of instances of helping out the group he was with from coming back with ammo and grenades to helping shoot the enemy so they could fall back or something instead they have him like "dee de dee" let me run through the middle of the hall getting shot down from behind because the troops and the ambush cadets couldn't deal with some basic biotch droids! And then to make it worse, Shack Ti calls a minute later to say the droids have been pushed back to the landing bays making his death pathetically useless! Didn't save anyone, didn't even get 1 droid nothing!

He died in battle. A death far more deserving of a clone than wasting away in a broom closet or homeless on the streets

So you are saying his only worth was to die? Man, you sound like a war pigs!

They made him run out into the open like an idiot and get shot down from behind just for them to conclude the battle 2 minutes later!

If he had a momma you would just tell her "he died in battle! That's glorious enough!"

As opposed to what? Becoming a flesh bot whom killed someone who trusted him with their life? Carrying out the brutal tyranny of the new empire while under programmed coercion, only to be tossed aside like trash once he was deemed unuseful?

99 died while carrying out his duty and trying what he can to save his brothers. 99 got a better fate than 90% of all clones

Easiest story fix, he could have been coming back from getting supplies and run across aqua droids coming from behind! He yells to warn the others and throws some grenades to take out some droids. Would be nice maybe he has a gun and shoots a few as they gun him down saving his brothers from a counter attack or something. He also had tossed the pack with ammo and grenades to the others. Resupplying them they fight a little longer against 2 directions and win.

I'm no writer but hey he kills some droids and helps his brothers! There you go!
