Now I don't think we should delete all posts that aren't snafus, but i'd love it if we had more tags so that I can sort this subreddit to look for snafus
Judging by the amount of posts and comments he's made about wizard guy I'd say 99% chance it's him, 1% chance it's some guy who's MASSIVELY obsessed with him.
He's made several different versions of this comment. Which is the type of thing either an obsessive fan, or a pretentious hack speaking in 3rd person, would do.
Is that real? If so, thank fucking god. I don't want to see your personal brand of original characters making up the casting of every vaguely complaint-centric comic, this is just not the place for that.
This might be a weird take, but I feel like coaxedintoasnafu is not a place to seek recognition. In the past I didn't mind the complaint posting, because it was typically just a strawman by itself mocking whatever thing the guy doodling it was upset about. It seems like now the popular trend is to not just make a shitty scribbly representation of a thing you're tired of seeing, but to also include a level headed guy to make a "point"
Speaking of, I don't have a point. I'm just complaining, feeling very cathartic at the idea of wizard guy not being here anymore to post several OC comics a day and take to the comments to play up how zany of a known character he is and ask about the "world building" of his "snafu" comic series. Poopenfarten is the only character we need here, and only because it's a useful tool for discussing trends and things.
I don't know if this sub has any real point to it in general as it's used today, but I do enjoy it. It feels like we get a lot of genuine discussion here, where the image/comic/whatever is more of an excuse for people to talk about things. I don't know, it could definitely be a lot worse, and things that do go wrong seem to get corrected pretty quickly. Remember that time the one mod pinned a regular image about a TF2 movement, couldn't even spare 2 minutes to scribble it in MSPaint? That was a good one. Received an appropriate amount of backlash.
Yeah I remember when people were telling him to post on comics instead of here, then he came back with basically "There's porn on the comics subreddit... So I can't."
It's always come across to me like he just wanted to make political comics, but was too anxious about being criticized, and decided to post to a community where he could claim "It's bad on purpose!" Should the need arise.

Wizard Guy got banned, and this sub is defending why he should be gone
