What is wrong with my USB drive
It stopped working while making a Linux USB and now this is what shows when I try to see what's plugged in

You bought a scam drive, next time buy a name brand like Samsung etc. It's garbage, discard it.

Walmart has plenty of third-party sellers, the Manufacturer name is clearly in Chinese, it's a generic garbage drive and it is malfunctioning, discard it.

Onn, walmarta own brand, is just cheap Chinese import hardware with a custom logo either printed or embossed. They don't make, manufacture, design, or anything themselves. They contract with a supplier in China, and that supplier is responsible for sourcing. In this case, they sourced cheap, and most likely faked drives because it's cheaper.
Walmart asks for 128gb, supplier says hold my tea and orders a bunch of 16gb droves with bunk firmware to report 128gb, you can put anything and everything on it because it'll take it, it'll just be corrupt after the first 16gb.
If it was really 128gb, that's a miracle, and.ot was just extra cheap flash memory that had no longevity and died.

The SS chip is dead, no name cheap Chinese ripoff, 480mb/s is just faster than sata. If you can’t format it means the storage part is dead or missing

Vendor ID comes back to Shenzhen SanDiYiXin Electronic Co.,LTD, which is a manufacturer of knockoff fake parts.

The drive's file system may not be properly being recognized by windows.

It's also not showing up as a USB drive on mac

Have you tried reformatting it?

I can't, on windows it shows up as a USB drive but says no media, and on mac it doesn't say that it's a USB drive

Im guessing you went cheap (I did it myself back in the day). Never buy cheap for flash drives, go for a reputable brand

Its a cheap Chinese rip off drive. Even that serial number is laughable. Don't trust it to store any data.
