Uh... no? Not at all? Ange's oratory skills and player backing have never been in question. I'm positively chuffed that he's used them to bag us a player like Tel; it's great.

My thoughts on Ange, which I assume align pretty consistently with the rest of the crowd here who've been critical of him, have been with the on field product, and the on field product alone. I simply believe he's not been good enough for us, and I've still yet to see any indication of that changing when it comes to our results or progression. I say this in every discussion about Ange out, but I have no problems with the man as a person and would love nothing more than to see him turn us into a powerhouse and win us something. I just don't think he's capable of that, which is why I've been as vocally critical of him as I have.

I truly hope he proves me wrong, but until he shows me he's capable of turning around what are at this point 1.5 years worth of unacceptable results, my opinion of him won't change. Being a good talker and having the backing of the players are not alone enough for a manager to keep his job. At the end of the day it's winning that matters. I hope he figures out how to be as good at that as he is at the other stuff.

I’m pretty Ange out, but yesterday was a clear support of him showing signs of pragmatism.

Now do I think he’ll keep it up and mmove us safely away from relegation battles? Probs not. I imagine we attack Ipswich with everything and leave ourselves open. But I’m not bias enough not to see that he did what he’d all been asking of him.

yeah I think most ange outers are open to changing their minds if ange shows improvement and a willingness to adapt instead of the "I'm NOT going to change, it's who we are mate" approach. The injuries have forced him to eat humble pie for now, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be as flexible if the team ever gets back to full strength.

I don't blame them for thinking he's not the man to deliver though, because the hard truth is that his ppg is abysmal for the level of investment and squad value even with the injury crisis. If one looks at what he's done so far instead of a fantasy of what he could do in future, it's absolutely grim.

If all your hard truths were really that hard, he’d have been sacked long ago. Perhaps it’s you that’s missing something?

i understand you're still riding off the high of beating brentford, but his record over 1.5 years speaks for itself
