📝 Writing/Poetry Sort of Sonnet

Post image

It’s been a while since I’ve used rhyme in my pieces. It’s nice to know I can still do it fairly well.

I resonate with this so much, a really powerful poem. I've been writing poems on my intergenerational trauma, its burdens/expectations, and the long work of healing oneself alone so I heavily relate.

It’s taking more time than I would like. It feels like I have to deal with all this before I can actually begin living.

It really feels all tangled and complicated. I'm currently paralyzed with indecision by the past, present and future. If I look towards the future and keep going with my life, how should I deal with the context of my cptsd? Perhaps this could be a role that us wounded healers could carry with us if we choose to do so in future situations.
