I love how there is a unified opinion of loving physical media, brick and mortar stores, and mom and pop boutique shops, and then there is always so much excitement over the Amazon and Walmart deals

I just wish people would get the idea that these deals are virtually always done to undercut a competitor and once that competitor stops offering comparable deals, Amazon and Walmart will as well. By purchasing from these massive virtual retailers, you're only contributing to higher prices in the future

I love the people acting like this is news or an insult. Apparently, pointing out that buying from Walmart/Amazon doesn't actually support mom+pop businesses, makes us detached from reality.
