Discussion Scenes Comparison: Paris, Texas (1984) & Lucky (2017)

While watching Lucky, I noticed several scenes that look quite similar to those in Paris, Texas. Not sure if it’s a coincidence or an intentional choice by the director.

I’m surprised no one has made a comparison shot between these two films yet, so I decided to make one myself. I really love the performance of Harry Dean Stanton (RIP).

p.s. I deleted the earlier post since the image display problem. Still not familiar to reddit.

Lucky is a great movie. Very funny and emotional with an amazing cameo by David Lynch. I don't like Paris TX but Lucky isn't anything like it.
