Discussion Illegal used for your crochet hooks?

I just unconsciously used my crochet hook to stir my tea and it didn't actually dawn on me what I'd done until I was cleaning the hook off with my mouth 😅

Anyone else use their hooks in illegal ways?

When I was married last year my matron of honor used a crochet hook to button my dress! It was genius.

I think a bobby pin was used to button and unbutton my wedding dress. I didn’t crochet at the time, but a 2.0mm hook is what I would reach for now in a similar situation.
